West Wing • Techno, House & Beyond

MightyKat was born with a sixth sense for rhythm. Counting her main influences as jazz, disco and soul, her unique sound bridges eclectic house and the funkier side of techno. A veteran of Montreal’s electronic music scene with over 25 years behind the decks, she’s graced prestigious clubs like Heideglühen (Berlin), KaterBlau (Berlin), Output (Brooklyn), and festivals including BPM Festival and Burning Man’s Mayan Warrior.

A Toronto-based collective comprising Razaq El Toro, Martin Ses and Sonic Griot together curate musical experiences celebrating art, electronic dance, underground, and alternative music from across Africa and the diaspora. Pioneers of Eko Electronic — a fusion of alternative electronic music, funk, underground elements, West African music, and Afrobeats.
Toronto’s Jamie Kidd is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ; co-founder of Box of Kittens, and half of live disco outfit TUSH. Jamie’s music has been heard in sets from luminaries such as Richie Hawtin, Solomun, and John Digweed and has seen him perform throughout North America and Europe, weaving techno, house, electro, uk bass, and dub rhythms with intention and a style that attests to his musicianship and love of improvisation.
Toronto DJ/producer, resident at BOK and SAS, Mike Gibbs delivers deep, genre-fluid house and techno. He has played every major Toronto club with promoters including Format, Apollo and Promise.
East Wing • D&B + Bass Heavy Music

As a 15-year resident of globally respected Stereo Night Club in Montreal, Ostrich delivers a sound that is both playful and precise, built on stripped-back rhythms, off-kilter grooves, and richly layered selections. As a rare treat for Sunday Afternoon Social, he’ll be playing an exclusively Liquid Drum & Bass set, channeling soulful vocals, melodic harmonies, and deep, smooth basslines.

One of the most respected DJs in the world thanks to his inimitable DJ skills and his incredibly influential role as a global musical tastemaker on the iconic radio show “Prophecy FM.” He’s brought the world’s biggest and most talented artists to Toronto through his various production companies, including Soul In Motion, ForwardDNB, Junglist Movement, Compound, and the hallowed Church Sundays. He continues to maintain his role as one of Canada’s musical ambassadors.

Over the past two years, the OG yunglist called Joyride has been rocking raves across the GTA and beyond with the sounds of the Jungle. Her intuition guides the dancefloor and her style is unmatched. Seamlessly blending light and dark, old and new, Joyride is known for showcasing the variety of Jungle Drum n’ Bass and is bound to take the dancefloor on a wicked journey every time.

A veteran of Toronto’s underground music scenes with 20 years as an event organizer, performer and venue manager. He’s managed Nocturne and UNIUN Nightclubs, been a team member with Burning Man art car groups META and TARNA, ran event company NightShift Toronto, co-founded art project DOCD and played Harvest Festival’s 25th Anniversary. Currently one of the driving forces of The Future Underground’s KINETIC weekly Wednesday parties at The Painted Lady and crew member of new RIVAL Soundsystem.

From playing his first house party 5 years ago, to making his way through the festival circuit, and now his debut at our beloved Sunday Social! Darouks will be bringing some deep filthy bass and dnb to keep your face in a perma-stank. Inspired by music that makes you go “YUCK 🤢”, and flavours of UKG/Grime… if you like it bouncy, dirty, and fun, then be sure to check him out at the East Wing!
