Updated October 9, 2026
London drum & bass duo Chase & Status brought their sound to Toronto’s Port Lands on October 4, 2026, for a free pop-up and video shoot. Renegade NYC brought the event together, with alienInFlux Sound System providing the KV2 Audio sound system and stage production. The activation brought a high-impact drum & bass set to an unlikely beach tucked between a cement factory and a shipping basin.

Watch “Carnage” featuring Little Simz
“Carnage” pairs Chase & Status’s hard-hitting drum & bass production with Little Simz’s confident, defiant delivery. The track appears on their new album, which explores resilience and self-belief. Moving forward on your own terms has never sounded this good.
About Chase & Status
Chase & Status are the London-based duo Saul “Chase” Milton and Will “Status” Kennard. Active since 2003, the duo built a following by blending underground drum & bass with grime, UK garage, and hip-hop, often spotlighting vocalists.
Their new album Generic Everything was released on October 9 and featured collaborations with artists including Little Simz, Skrillex, J Hus, and Giggs. The album moves between rave, rap, soundsystem culture, and electronic music, continuing the duo’s approach of working across genres with leading artists. Hey guys!
I’m Jordan, the creator behind Rave Baddie Daddy here in Toronto.
Saw you guys are behind the Chase & Status pop up and wanted to reach out. I’d love to see if we could make a quick Baddie Chats happen with them while they’re in town, or any other type of content.
It’s a super casual 10 to 15 minute conversation, made specifically for short form content, and I can work completely around their schedule.
Would love to connect with whoever is handling artist relations or media for the event!
