About the Social

Sunday Afternoon Social is a day-into-evening dance gathering hosted in lofts and other intimate spaces. Started by DJ collective Box of Kittens and alienInFlux (Harvest festival, Boreal Canoe Trip, Boat of Bass), it weaves together house, techno, and downtempo music with a friendly, relaxed vibe. It grew into a staple of the city’s electronic dance music community.
